Have you ever experienced being so hungry but can’t decide on where to eat? Have you also experienced breaking down because you were just so hungry that you could barely think straight and you were already so cranky that you might flip everyone or anything you see? You know what? I have, I can’t even count how many times already. lol
Anyway, the whole point of this post is that last friday, my friend and I decided to go to this Korean Restaurant at Torres Street and the word buffet was really enticing and I was really excited that if there were no people around I would literally skip around while going there. So we arrived at the place where the Korean Buffet is located and once we went inside the restaurant, I was a tad bit disappointed when I saw the food that they were serving because there were only a few of it and that was not what I was expecting and I was like “am I really at a buffet restaurant?” So we decided to not eat there anymore because first: there were only a few choices on their menu and second: I didn’t like the ambiance of the place.
So we decided to go to Lachis instead and as we went there, we accidentally passed by this restaurant along Marfori Street called Taco Loco. Taco Loco is a Mexican restaurant and
Grilling is one of the most famous ways in cooking ones food here in the Philippines and as well as all over the world. Here in Davao we can almost see every corner of the street that sells grilled meat or barbeques. It was just a typical day that I had and I wanted to try something new so I decided to try out this place called Chixboy and I just also recently knew about this place through a friend.
The saying “Don’t judge the book by its cover” suits this restaurant well because as you can see the place outside where this restaurant is located, is just pretty simple but once you go inside then you can definitely see how lovely the place is.
As we went inside, I can’t help not to notice the interior of this place because I like how they designed it especially the chunks of wood on the
I’ve been to a few Japanese restaurants here in Davao City and I can say that my favorite by far is Taishozan and I have been here twice already and it never disappoints because the food tastes great especially their spicy tuna roll like it is seriously the bomb!
I liked the interior of the place because they really made an effort in decorating it and the place also has a Japanese vibe into it maybe because of the (fake) cherry blossoms that they put on the ceiling. lol
The first time we tried here last june there were
Honestly speaking I was really surprised when I tasted the food at Kuya J’s because I just didn’t expect it to be that good. I mean I have already heard a lot of good reviews about their halo-halo (a filipino desser that is technically a shaved ice with milk, red beans, ube, sago, leche flan and and a scoop of ice cream on top) and that they said it really tasted so good but I wasn’t really expecting so much of their main courses to taste so delicious.
Grilled Rack of Ribs
I came here with my family and we were really hungry so we ordered the grilled rack of ribs and I was really surprised by how big it was because this can be eaten by 2-3 persons and it only costs you
Thank God for the new cafes here in Davao that I get to try! I was really stoked when I went here last night, I have been eyeing this tiny cafe ever since I saw it while passing by along mabini street. I was already about to go home when I decided at the very last minute to check this place out because I was really curious on what kind of food they serve. When we got there, my friend and I were the only customers during that time so we were very fortunate because the place is literally cute as in super tiny that it could just fit like only six to ten people inside their cafe but they also have tables outside. Good thing we were the only one who ate there last night because it would already be too crowded if there were other people too. Lol.
Obviously, I ordered a matcha frappe since
I have been wanting to try and eat at Backyard Burgers since the day I knew about it and honestly while looking at their menu, it is absolutely appetizing to look at that you’ll literally salivate and just want to grab a bite on their burgers, but I only tasted it today since they had a 99 pesos sale on their selected burgers.
What I ordered was the Cheesy Bacon Burger just because
Whenever I want to eat something delicious but still affordable I frequently go to Mcdonalds, Jollibee, or Keepsakes Cafe. Mostly cafes and restaurants in the city are quite pricey but in this cafe you’ll definitely save a lot because the serving of their food is just enough for the price.
I can’t remember exactly what kind of pizza my friends and I ordered but it tasted great, I think it was taco pizza and the other one is beef, and not to mention their pizza is
I haven’t updated my blog since April because I was a bit busy (of korean dramas lol) and so today I decided to write something about the latest food trend that you will see nowadays here in Davao City and it’s called the Freakshakes. I don’t know why it’s called freakshakes but I guess it’s because the shakes is not just an ordinary shake and you’ll literally freak out once you taste it lol. So the shake has a lot of toppings at the tip of the glass, it has a slice of cake with a lot of toppings like pepero, wafer sticks, whipped cream, and a drizzle of chocolate or caramel. Sounds tempting right?
The flavors of these shakes are nutella and vanilla. I paired my vanilla shake with a red velvet cake as the topping and it tasted good because the sweetness of the shake complimented well to
