My Overdue Christmas Post

Christmas time is my most favorite time of the year, not just because of the food but as well as the beautiful Christmas lights that look like stars that are twinkling on every corner of the streets.

This post was supposed to be posted before December ends but I got a bit lazy and I was quite busy with some personal matters. The city lights are always enticing to look at during the most special time of the year. I am glad I was able to visit this place in our city even though it was just only for one night. Here are some of the photos that I took during the time when my boyfriend and I walked around the streets of Davao.

I love how every place has their own Christmas tree just like this one, this is really huge and nice to look at in personal. I think these photos didn’t do any justice for it actually really looks good in the actual.

Photos above were from SM Lanang. I love how they decorated this huge ass Christmas tree! It was very colorful and very detailed. Also liked the mini house that they had.

This is the Tunnel of Lights which was an absolute favorite attraction of the crowd.

While I was there, I could clearly see that a lot of people were enjoying this attraction and families, friends, and as well as lovers were taking a lot of pictures to cherish the moment that they’re currently in. This was such a memorable and heartwarming scene to me, not because of how beautiful the tunnel of lights is but because I could clearly see in the eyes of those people around me who were there with their loved ones during that time that they are having fun and that they really value the people who were with them. I really love looking at people who are happy because it also makes me happy in a certain way.

  1. Really nice Christmas attractions! My brother and his family are based there in Davao. I’m sure they’ve visited some of those places too last Christmas. 🙂

  2. The tunnel of lights is amazing! What a nice place for a photo op. Christmas is a time like no other and I love spending all my Christmases with my family and friends whom I hold so dear to my heart.

  3. Wow, I haven’t heard about tunnel of lights and sure that this is the first time I heard about it. I can definitely relate to you with the things I love about Christmas – the food (of course) and so as the Christmas lights and decorations. How I wish we have this particular town where all of the houses were covered with Christmas lights and decors just like how western countries spend time and money to it. I am sure it would be an attraction.

  4. Those are beautiful snaps of the holiday spirit in the Philippines. I am very glad that I was able to spend the Christmas last year with my loved ones. Christmas is something I really look forward to every year even if the “budget” will be ridiculously overshooting.

I have yet to see those tunnel lights too. I love twinkly stuff. 🙂

  5. Well, Christmas may be over but the spirit is still very much alive, now that I am browsing through your photos. I bet Christmas is a wonderful time to be in the Philippines.
